About Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aliye YILDIRIM GÜZELANT
She studied secondary and high school in Samsun Namık Kemal High School and university in Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty, family medicine specialization training in Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialization training in Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital. Her specialty thesis was on the comparison of Bone Densitometry and Biochemical Indicators after Diagnosis and Treatment in Postmenopausal Women.
After working as a chief resident at Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital until 2010, she took part in Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department as a founding faculty member.
She worked and conducted clinical research on neurological rehabilitation (stroke), orthopedic rehabilitation, lymphedema treatment, multiple sclerosis rehabilitation, and rheumatological diseases between 2010-2017. She became an associate professor in 2015. She was a teacher of the departments of elderly care and physiotherapy technician at the Health Vocational School of Namık Kemal University.
She has been working as a physical therapist in Çorlu Reyap Hospital since 2017. She continues her studies on neurological rehabilitation, hand rehabilitation, robotic rehabilitation, pediatric rehabilitation, rheumatic diseases, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia, musculoskeletal diseases, joint and PRP injections. She is currently working as a faculty member of Health Sciences at Istanbul Rumeli University Faculty.
