Rheumatology Department of Reyap Hospital is concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal diseases and systemic autoimmune situations called rheumatic diseases. In Rheumatology Department, in addition to inflammatory rheumatic diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus, Sjogren’s syndrome and connective tissue diseases such as vasculitis, gout, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriasis arthritis, painful soft tissue rheumatism (calcification), osteoarthritis and similar diseases are diagnosed and treated. Genetic disorders affecting the joints are also examined in our department. In our department, our rheumatologist specialists and orthopedics, internal medicine, physical therapy and rehabilitation, neurosurgery and dermatology specialists work together in the treatment of rheumatic diseases.
