Artromot S3 shoulder CPM (continuous passive motion) device, which helps to move the joints in the shoulder, is a device used after shoulder operations and fractures, painful shoulder diseases, shoulder problems of stroke patients. Especially since the arm must not be immobilized for the rapid healing of the problems that occur after joint surgery, the recovery of our patients is accelerated by the use of the CPM device after the operation.
Artromot S3 CPM device, which is used in our Reyap Hospital Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Center, provides the nutrient diffusion by ensuring the regular movement of damaged bone, cartilage and other tissues. With the physical movement, the movement of the synovial fluid in the joints is ensured. In this way, it facilitates the passage of blood and metabolic products between the tissues, accelerating the healing and accordingly the adaptation process of the prosthesis applied during the surgery.
The CPM device, which is used in the first phase of rehabilitation after soft tissue surgery or trauma, allows to reset the changing parameters of the movement in case of inconvenience of our patients’ condition and range of motion by adjusting the force as well as giving a lot of confidence with its patient protection feature that prevents excessive force on the joint with its programmable hand control with 16 different movement models.
